Support Our Work

Every rupee given to the ashram is spent on the work it was given for. Accounts are open to any donor who asks to see them.

What your gift does

We keep the ashram running on small, regular gifts from people in this district and from well-wishers elsewhere. Here is what different amounts actually pay for.

Choose an amount
  • ₹500 A month of medicines for one patient at the dispensary
  • ₹1,000 School books and materials for one child for a year
  • ₹2,500 A full computer training course for one student
  • ₹5,000 A relief kit — rice, dal, oil, tarpaulin — for one family
  • ₹10,000 A sewing machine and training for a woman heading a household
  • ₹25,000 A one-day medical camp serving around two hundred people
Beyond Money

Other ways to help

Some of the most useful things given to this ashram have never been cash.

Give your time

Teach a subject, help at a medical camp, sort relief supplies, or assist during festivals. Even a few hours a month makes a difference.

Talk to us

Bring a skill

Doctors, teachers, accountants, tailors, computer trainers — the ashram is almost always short of someone who can do what you do.

See open roles

Give in kind

Books, blankets, school stationery, medicines within date, sewing machines and computers are all put straight to use.

Ask what is needed

He who gives, gives to himself. The giver is blessed more than the receiver.
